It was ported to just about every major platform, and now, it's completely free on the Epic Games Store.
The sale is live now on the Epic Games Store, but you might run into some trouble redeeming it. This is the first of two mystery games that will be dropping throughout the holiday season.
Hogwarts Legacy Is Free On Epic Games Store

The streak of Hogwarts Legacy continues sales-wise, as it was one of the biggest games ever for WB. Now, anyone who is curious can check it out on the Epic Games Store, where it's currently free. This isn't a limited-time deal, as the $59.99 MSRP now shows up as striked-through, with a "free" label front and center instead.
As of the time of publication, this is the only premiere freebie that's going on during The Game Awards. The next free game is a mystery and will be unveiled later. At this point, it's safe to say it'll be another AAA game. A Harry Potter chocolate frog back bling will be available in Fortnite if you play before December 18.
The Deal Crashed The Storefront
After trying out the deal ourselves, we encountered numerous errors that caused the entire store to crash on both the client-side and the web app. Sometimes the game showed as "unavailable," and we couldn't get past the cart stage.
Hopefully, everything will be cleaned up throughout the night. Given the cross-promotion with Fortnite, odds are it'll get fixed sooner or later, especially as the initial news dies down.
Hogwarts Legacy seems to still be in demand, as people await the fate of Hogwarts Legacy 2. With WB potentially under new ownership, anything is on the table.
