Former Nickelodeon actress Kianna Underwood, 33, known for All That and Little Bill, was killed in a double hit-and-run Friday in Brooklyn.

Underwood was crossing an intersection in the Brownsville neighborhood of Brooklyn Friday morning when a black Ford Explorer SUV struck her, according to the New York Police Department. While lying in the street, she was then hit by a black and gray sedan, the New York Police Department (NYPD) said in a statement.

The actress was pronounced dead at the scene. Both drivers left the area and have not been identified, law enforcement officials said. The investigation remains ongoing.

Kianna Underwood's Career: What to Know

Underwood began her entertainment career in the late 1990s with Nickelodeon, voicing the character Fuschia Glover in the Nick Jr. animated series Little Bill from 1999 to 2004. The show, based on Bill Cosby's book series, followed the adventures of a five-year-old African American boy and his family.

In 2005, she appeared in seven episodes of Nickelodeon's popular sketch comedy show All That, a groundbreaking program that became a cultural phenomenon for young audiences. The series ran for over a decade and served as a launching pad for numerous successful entertainment careers, including those of Nick Cannon, Kenan Thompson, and Amanda Bynes.

Underwood also performed in musical theater, spending a year on the first national tour of Hairspray as Little Inez, a supporting role in the Tony Award-winning Broadway production.

All That was Underwood's last credited acting role. While she stepped away from the entertainment industry after 2005, her contributions to children's programming left an impact on viewers who grew up watching Nickelodeon during that era.
