By Tyler ErzbergerShareNewsweek is a Trust Project memberFor a franchise that knows what pain feels like, Saturday night is one of the lowest in Buffalo Bills history.
In what was supposed to be their year, Josh Allen's Bills failed to make it to the AFC Championship in another postseason overtime loss. This time it was in the hands of the Denver Broncos, with a second-year QB at the helm.
One of Bo Nix, Drake Maye, or C.J. Stroud will play in a Super Bowl before Josh Allen.
Dave Portnoy, president of Barstool Sports and one of Drake Maye's most prominent supporters, spoke out about the Buffalo loss following the game.
An avid New England Patriots fan who was tied heavily with the Tom Brady-led dynasty of the early 21st century needed to give his thoughts on his AFC East rival falling before a potential rematch next Sunday.

"Buffalo, I think, is 100 times better than Denver," Portnoy said in a video at his home posted to social media. "Buffalo just played one of the worst games I've seen Josh Allen play. Mistakes at the end of the first half, turning the ball over. You really felt like they were the better team. I thought [Brandin] Cooks caught that pass."
In overtime, the veteran wideout Cooks caught what looked to be a game-winning reception that would have put the Bills in routine field goal position. Instead, the ball was wrestled away from him after it appeared his knee was already down, and it was called an interception.
The Barstool Sports founder would go on to call the Bills the Patriots' "little brother" that continually finds ways to have the worst losses imaginable. He then told the AFC East that it would be OK, because Maye and the Patriots would be there to pick up the division's reputation in tomorrow's AFC semifinal against the Houston Texans at Foxborough.
"I'm thinking of you little fellas tonight," Portnoy directed to Bills fans. "Until next year, when you find a new way to top yourselves."
