Wolves 2-1 Liverpool: Andre’s late deflected winner dealt the Reds a big blow in their pursuit of Champions League

Liverpool will have to return to Wolverhampton sooner than they perhaps would’ve liked after tonight’s last-gasp defeat.
They face Wolves at Molineux in the FA Cup fifth round in just three days time. It’s a Friday night game, again under the lights - an identical meeting.
“We've made Liverpool angry, so we know how difficult it will be on Friday,” Rob Edwards said.

“A bad result,” Slot told TNT Sports.
“We were getting closer and closer to scoring a goal, but then conceded probably the first moment they arrived in our box. We were then close to the winner with Mo Salah on the counter-attack and Virgil’s header.
“But in the end it’s because of a deflected shot that wasn’t even a chance.”
