The Toronto Blue Jays have made some key additions this offseason, but have not yet re-signed Bo Bichette. He could be a great addition for many teams.

If the Blue Jays are ready to let Bichette walk, then many contenders would be ready to pay him and bring him in. Bichette has noted he wants to stay in Toronto, but considering the Blue Jays are targeting Kyle Tucker, they may not be able to afford both him and Bichette.

Bichette would be a great fit on many teams needy of a shortstopp, but his defensive woes at shortstop have led many to believe he could switch positions. According to MLB insider Mark Feinsand, Bichette is open to a move to second base, expanding his list of suitors. MLB.com's Andrew Simon urged Bichette to leave Toronto to sign with the San Franciscoi Giants, who he considers a "perfect fit" for him.

The Giants have Willy Adames at shortstop and Matt Chapman at third base. Bichette could slot in at second base, a clear weak spot for the Giants. Bichette is a contact-oriented hitter with some power, but his game revolves around putting the ball in play and racking up hits.

"His contact-oriented, line-drive approach could also be a good fit at Oracle Park, an extremely tough venue for home runs but one that’s favorable for other types of hits," wrote Simon.

He has led the American League in hits twice already in his career and was on pace to lead all of baseball in hits before his knee injury in Spetember. Buster Posey has been aggressive since taking over, and adding Bichette would give the Giants, arguably, the best infield in baseball. Chapman, Adames, Bichette and Devers would put up great offensive numbers in a lloaded National League West.
