By Matthew SchmidtShareNewsweek is a Trust Project memberThe Baltimore Ravens have been one of the most disappointing teams in the NFL this season, as they are just 7-8 heading into their Week 16 matchup with the Green Bay Packers.
There have been a myriad of factors at play in the Ravens' 2025 demise. Lamar Jackson's health has been a persistent issue, and many also feel that head coach John Harbaugh has run his course in Baltimore.

On top of that, questions have been rising about Harbaugh's rapport with Jackson, as some have been questioning whether or not the relationship has soured.
Harbaugh addressed the concerns on Wednesday, making it clear that no problems exist between him and his superstar quarterback.
"I had a great conversation with Lamar this morning," Harbaugh told reporters. "... Our relationship is A-plus. I love him. Always have, always will. ... I don't need anybody speaking for me."
The Ravens originally selected Jackson with the 32nd overall pick of the 2018 NFL Draft. He proceeded to supplant Joe Flacco as Baltimore's starting quarterback midway through his rookie campaign and has been under center ever since.
...Jackson has made four Pro Bowl appearances while also earning a pair of MVP awards throughout his tenure in Baltimore. Additionally, he has notched First-Team All-Pro honors three times.
The 28-year-old has played in 12 games this season, throwing for 2,311 yards, 18 touchdowns and six interceptions while completing 63.7 percent of his passes and posting a 101.4 passer rating. He has also rushed for 340 yards and a couple of scores.
Jackson has two years remaining on the five-year, $260 million extension he signed with the Ravens back in April 2023, which made him the highest-paid player in league history at the time.

The University of Louisville product is one year removed from racking up 41 touchdown passes as opposed to just four picks, but there is no question he has not looked the same this season.
Injuries have surely played a significant factor in Jackson's 2025 decline, but perhaps the Harbaugh-Jackson pairing is also nearing its end.
