The Buffalo Bills had a concerning moment on the field during their game on Sunday against the Cleveland Browns when quarterback Josh Allen exited the field with what appeared to be an ankle injury.

The incident happened in the second half of the game. Allen was in the Bills' backfield and almost took a safety, with Myles Garrett on him. Allen fell and motioned to say that he had an ankle problem. He went into the locker room, but not the medical tent, which was a good sign, and he was cleared to return to the game.

But the Bills aren't taking any chances. On Tuesday, head coach Sean McDermott said that Allen would miss practice time with the foot injury.

"No real changes, today was just a chance to... see how he's feeling today. Obviously sore," McDermott said according to a report from Katherine Fitzgerald of The Buffalo News.

The fact that Allen is still sore isn't great, and it's a bit troubling going into a big game against the Eagles with their playoff hopes on the line. But the good news is that Allen is expected to play against Philadelphia on Sunday, according to McDermott.

"Yes, I'll be planning on playing," Allen said, regarding playing in the Eagles game. That's great, but the word "planning" means it isn't a given.

Buffalo held a walk-through practice on Tuesday, since Christmas falls on Thursday this year.

Also, other players not participating Tuesday include defensive tackle Jordan Phillips, kicker Matt Prater, safety Jordan Poyer, defensive tackle DaQuan Jones, tight end Dalton Kincaid, defensive back Cam Lewis, and defensive end Joey Bosa.

Buffalo clinched its seventh consecutive playoff spot after the Indianapolis Colts' loss on Monday, and it also kept its slim bid to catch up to the AFC East-leading New England Patriots (12-3) alive. To win the division title, the Bills need to win their final two games and the Patriots need to lose one of their final two games.

If the Bills pull it off, it will mark their sixth straight division title.
