Even though Attack on Titan's anime ended in 2023, fans are still keeping interest in the franchise alive. Through fan works, analysis, and social media posts, fans are showing just how much life Attack on Titan has left in it. One popular Attack on Titan fangame in particular is proving just how creative fans can get.

Roblox is a popular platform for creators to make games based on their favorite franchises, and that's led to more than a few big projects for series like Attack on Titan. Few Attack on Titan fans games are as big on Roblox as Attack on Titan Revolution.

The game, which was first released in 2023, has proved massively popular with fans of the franchise and Roblox. At the time of writing, it has over one million likes and 633 million visits, solidifying it as nothing short of a smash hit.

Attack on Titan Revolution Proves Just How Popular Attack on Titan Still Is

The game was first released on May 7th, 2023, capitalizing on the excitement of Attack on Titan's penultimate episode, which was released a few months earlier in March.

Revolution still seems to sport an active community, as the Roblox community page shows that over one thousand fans unlocked one of the game's achievements yesterday.

In Attack on Titan Revolution, players can take control of a member of the series' Survey Corps. Players do battle with Titans using the iconic omni-directional move gear and can even unlock the ability to Titan shift and turn into one of Attack on Titan's different Titan types.

How Does Attack on Titan Revolution Compare To The Franchise's Official Games?

Attack on Titan has a few video game adaptations. Most notably, the series has a 3DS game titled Attack on Titan: Humanity in Chains, a PS3 game simply titled Attack on Titan, and a PS4 game titled Attack on Titan 2.

Reception to these games was mostly warm, though not quite glowing. Attack on Titan and its sequel were praised for how accurately they recreated the thrill of taking down a Titan. Unfortunately, many felt the games were a bit repetitive.

Still, it was unfortunate that the main Attack on Titan game series stopped at only two games, as the last one released in 2018, meaning there's still plenty of story left to adapt.

While these games obviously have Revolution beat on visuals, what makes the Roblox game so great is the clear passion behind it. That, coupled with the fact that it's relatively easy to pick up due to being on Roblox gives it a certain charm that's hard for any big budget release to match.

Attack on Titan might be over, but fans will continue celebrating the series for years to come.
