Pundits on BBC Radio 5 Live's Football Daily podcast have reacted to Arsenal's latest win that stretches their lead to five points at the top of the Premier League.

Former England captain Steph Houghton said: "It's just routine at the moment for Arsenal. You just expect them to keep churning out these three points.

"I think Arteta has done really well in terms of knowing who to rotate. It wasn't Arsenal's best performance but ultimately in these weeks where there's three games it's just about winning.

"They would have been a little disappointed with the Chelsea result but ultimately they got a draw. Chelsea then lost in midweek [while] Manchester City won but looked vulnerable.

"For Arsenal it is just almost always dominant performances at the moment. They are so strong defensively and they put pressure on and score at the right moments."

Former England international Conor Coady added: "It's the control for me. They're just in control of everything they do.

"With what Mikel Arteta is doing and how he's built his squad - everything that comes out of his mouth at the minute, everything works. Every interview that he does just shows he's in control.

"I think that's the biggest thing and that's a big sign of champions.

"We saw it with Liverpool last season and I think we're seeing it now with Mikel Arteta this season.

"Everything he does just seems thought through and under control."
