Dec. 3 marks the start of the Early Signing Day Period and the TCU Horned Frogs kicked off their day with a major flip of three-star wide receiver Cooper Reid, who was previously committed to Arizona State before sharing his commitment to TCU on Wednesday morning. The 6-foot-4, 200-pounder from Dripping Springs, Texas caught 50 passes for 778 yards and 17 touchdowns over 10 games during the 2025 season, helping Dripping Springs to a 12-1 record. In 2024, Reid caught 62 receptions for 1,006 yards and 15 touchdowns over 12 games.
A basketball and track athlete as well, Reid caught 36 passes for 636 yards and seven touchdowns as a sophomore in 2023. Reid, who had been committed to Arizona State since the summer, held offers from California, Houston, Kansas, Minnesota and more before signing with TCU on Wednesday. Reid’s signing makes him the 22nd member of the 2026 recruiting class, which now ranks 33rd in the country, according to 247Sports. Reid also becomes the fourth wide receiver in the class, joining Khamill Pruitt, Ace Theus and James Scott.
