Will the Alabama Crimson Tide be wearing their home or away jerseys for Saturday's SEC championship showdown against the Georgia Bulldogs at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta?
Until last year, the SEC West champion was the designated home team in odd-numbered years, with the SEC East champion the home team in even-numbered years. That changed in 2024 when the conference ended divisional play with the Texas Longhorns and Oklahoma Sooners joining the SEC.

Both Alabama (10-2 overall) and Georgia (11-1) were 7-1 in conference play during the regular season, but the Crimson Tide beat the Bulldogs, 24-21, on Sept. 27 at Sanford Stadium in Athens.

Georgia will be wearing its road white jerseys over its "silver britches."
It's the same uniform combination both teams wore in their two previous SEC title game matchups: in 2021 and 2023. Prior to that, Georgia was the designated home team vs. Alabama in 2012 and 2018.

Kickoff for Alabama-Georgia is 3 p.m. CT. The game will be televised on ABC.
Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit will call the game from the broadcast booth at Mercedes-Benz Stadium in Atlanta. Holly Rowe and Laura Rutledge will report from the sidelines.
Additionally, both SEC Network and the flagship ESPN channel will offer different presentations of the game. Per a press release from ESPN:
"ABC’s broadcast will feature Chris Fowler, Kirk Herbstreit, Holly Rowe and Laura Rutledge, while ESPN provides a Field Pass alternate presentation with Will Compton, Taylor Lewan, Josh Pate and Harry Douglas presented by The Pat McAfee Show. SEC Network will also showcase the Bulldogs/Crimson Tide tussle with a SkyCast viewing option."
ESPN's "SkyCast" features no play-by-play or color commentary.
