Who will succeed Ivory Coast, crowned at home in February 2024 after their triumph over Nigeria in the final (2-1)?

The 35th edition of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations will take place in Morocco from December 21, 2025 to January 18, 2026.

The inaugural tournament, held in Sudan in 1957 with just three teams, was won by Egypt, who defeated Ethiopia (4-0) in the final. The Pharaohs are the record holders for most titles, with seven, their last coming in 2010.
