New York Giants kick returner Gunner Olszewski took one of the hardest hits of the season, and he has a damaged helmet to prove it.
The play happened during a kick return in Monday night's game between the Giants and New England Patriots. Olszewski got wrapped up by Patriots linebacker Marte Mapu before getting blasted by Christian Elliss in a sickening helmet-to-helmet collision.

The Giants' returner fumbled the ball and slumped to the ground flat on his back. An image floated around online of the damaged decal on the side of Olszewski's helmet.
Thankfully, Olszewski made it back to his feet after the play was over. He walked off the field slowly with two trainers at his sides.
Elliss played with a chip on his shoulder on Monday night. Before the hit on Olszewski, he was the defender responsible for the highlight reel hit along the sideline on Giants quarterback Jaxson Dart. He collided with the quarterback hard and sent him helicoptering out of bounds in the air.
