After three wins in nonconference play this past week, coach Brad Brownell and the Clemson Tigers are slowly moving closer to the top 25 of the USA TODAY Sports Men's Basketball Coaches Poll.
Clemson improved to 6-1 overall with a 97-94 overtime win over the Georgia Bulldogs Sunday in the championship game of the Shriners Children’s Charleston Classic at TD Arena. That followed a 70-67 victory over another previously unbeaten opponent, the West Virginia Mountaineers from the Big 12, on Friday. Clemson also defeated North Alabama, 81-61, last week.
