Wisconsin men's basketball is no longer a ranked team.
The Badgers — previously ranked No. 21 in the USA Today Coaches Poll and No. 23 in the Associated Press poll — are no longer ranked in the polls released Nov. 24. The fall follows UW's 28-point loss to then-No. 10 BYU in Salt Lake City and a 25-point win against SIU-Edwardsville.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementUW was No. 24 in the preseason coaches poll and preseason AP poll and rose slightly in week amid its 4-0 start to the season. It was the program's first time being ranked in either preseason poll since 2020-21.
Wisconsin will have opportunities to improve its ranking with another two games against high-major foes looming as part of the Rady Children's Invitational in San Diego. UW will face Providence on Nov. 27 and either TCU or Florida on Nov. 28.
