Luckily for L.A., there are a number of solid options out there. None are more notable than Edwin Diaz, the free agent from the New York Mets.
The Mets may very well want Diaz back, but it's safe to expect the Dodgers to inquire, too.

MLB.com's Mark Feinsand took a crack at finding one free agent for each of the 30 MLB teams. And in that new article, Feinsand gives the Dodgers their guy, Diaz.

"Roki Sasaki filled the role through the postseason, but he’s expected to return to the rotation, leaving a vacancy in the ninth inning. Díaz opted out of the final two years of his record-setting, five-year, $102 million contract with the Mets, and whether or not he exceeds that with his next deal, he’s a perfect fit for a team that never hesitates to spend."

Diaz opted out of a contract that was going to pay him nearly $20 million per year for the next couple seasons, so he certainly thinks he can get a solid payday.
The Dodgers could overbid a bit if that's what it takes to get him, although if they're bidding against the Mets, those are two sets of deep ownership pockets.

But it would somehow make sense for the Dodgers to get Diaz. Back to back World Series titles, why not add more star power?
