The Bucs continue to battle injuries during the 2025 NFL season. Everyone thought they dealt with the worst of it in 2024, but the issues they have had pop up in 2025 is something that no other team has dealt with at this point in the season.
Heading into Week 13, they now have another significant injury to deal with as quarterback Baker Mayfield is now down. Will he play against the Arizona Cardinals? If he does, how well will he be serving the Bucs' offense?

That's a lot of words, but it is good news. Most importantly, it is not his throwing shoulder. Baker Mayfield has played through a ton of injuries, both in the past, where he played through a somewhat similar injury, actually worse, and the season where he's played through a couple of different things. . .my understanding is he does actually have a real chance to be able to play this Sunday for the Bucks. If he could possibly get out there, he will, and the MRI revealed, at least, he's got a shot."
The offense really took a step back in Week 12 when he was out, as they didn't score any points in the second half against the Rams. They need Mayfield to play to provide that spark, especially against a tough Arizona Cardinals team that is better than their record reflects.
