I’m grateful for the opportunity and for everyone on the coaching staff who believed in me throughout the process. After careful consideration, I’ve decided to reopen my recruitment to find the best fit for my future both on and off the field. My recruitment is now 100-percent open.”
Williams is the No. 35 athlete and No. 91 recruit in California in the 2026 cycle, according to the Rivals Industry Ranking, a weighted average that utilizes all major recruiting media companies. He checks in as the No. 1,131 prospect overall.
In addition to Utah, Williams also holds offers from Washington State, UNLV, Oregon State, Minnesota, Sacramento State and others. His decision leaves the Utes with 15 total commits and a class that ranks No. 34 nationally, according to the Rivals Industry Team Recruiting Rankings.
