The star quarterback, 28, shared a cryptic photo on his Instagram Stories on Monday, Nov. 24 with a caption that hinted at his return, simply writing, "He's back," over a mirror selfie where he's wearing LeBron James' Cleveland Cavaliers jersey.

Although Burrow didn't provide any further context on his post, fans are convinced it means he'll finally play this week when the Bengals take on the Baltimore Ravens for the Thanksgiving Day game on Thursday night.

Burrow has missed the past nine games with a turf toe injury that required surgery, which he underwent on Sept. 19. A month later, the fifth-year quarterback returned to the sidelines to watch his team.

Fans are hoping Burrow will revitalize the 3-8 Bengals, starting with the Thanksgiving day game, though the team currently has a 2% chance of making the playoffs.
