The No. 4 Georgia Bulldogs (10-1, 7-1 in SEC) had a tune-up game in store vs. the Charlotte 49ers out of the American Athletic Conference. After a fantastic win over the No. 18 Texas Longhorns to close their SEC slate, the Bulldogs needed to take care of business with a dominant win vs. Charlotte. They did just that, defeating them 35-3.

Gunner Stockton was not great, with 196 yards, no touchdowns and an interception, but the UGA running game had five touchdowns. Nate Frazier had 54 yards and two touchdowns, while freshman Bo Walker had a career day with 48 yards and three touchdowns, which were the first scores of his career. The pass rush generated two sacks and three tackles for loss, and the secondary picked off Charlotte quarterback Grayson Loftis twice.

Georgia moves up to 10-1, almost guaranteed to make the College Football Playoff with their impressive resume and the fact that they're 7-1 in the SEC. However, they'll need to beat Georgia Tech (9-2) if they want to clinch either a home playoff game or a first-round bye.
