Week 12 of the regular season is in the books, putting teams one week closer to the start of the playoffs in January. And though there were some crazy games on Sunday afternoon, the playoff picture in the NFC looks almost identical to the way it did a week ago.
There was one big change, though: There's a new No. 1 at the top.

The Rams crushed the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 34-7, on Sunday Night Football after the Eagles were stunned by the Dallas Cowboys, blowing a 21-point first-half lead.
All of the division leaders remain the same, as do the seven teams currently holding playoff berths. The Bears, Seahawks, Packers and 49ers all won to maintain their positioning in the NFC standings.
NFC playoff picture and standings
Rams: 9-2 (NFC West)
Eagles: 8-3 (NFC East)
Bears: 8-3 (NFC North)
Buccaneers: 6-5 (NFC South)
Seahawks: 8-3 (WC)
Packers: 7-3-1 (WC)
49ers: 8-4 (WC)
The Rams are now in the driver's seat for a first-round bye if they can maintain a one-game lead over the Eagles. If they pull into a tie with Philadelphia, the Eagles will win the tiebreaker thanks to their head-to-head win in Week 3.
