The team showed a quick video of the helmet each player will be wearing for Thanksgiving when they host the Green Bay Packers, along with announcing the uniform combination. The team is going back to the classic combination after not wearing the uniform in 2024.
"Bringing back the Classics for Thanksgiving," the Lions wrote on X (formerly Twitter) in addition to sharing the video.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementThe Lions will be going with the classic all-gray helmet with no logo, in addition to their classic Honolulu blue uniforms and the grey pants also worn in Week 10 against the Washington Commanders.
The Lions are hoping for better luck in the classic uniforms against the Packers. Detroit lost to Green Bay two years on Turkey Day, 29-22.
