A post-Monday Night Football scuffle broke out between Jauan Jennings and Tre'von Moehrig with the former retaliating for a cheap shot he took to the groin during the game. Jennings justified his actions by saying they were a response to Moehrig's "childish behavior," and with discipline potentially looming from the NFL, San Francisco 49ers coach Kyle Shanahan has his wide receiver's back.
Without mincing words, Shanahan expressed pride in Jennings for his ability to remain calm immediately after Moehrig's strike to his nether region.

It's unclear if the NFL will be as forgiving as Shanahan. The league recently handed a one-game suspension to Detroit Lions safety Brian Branch for smacking Kansas City Chiefs wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster postgame, so there's the precedent for Jennings.
Jennings has battled a litany of injuries this season, from broken ribs to sprained ankles to a shoulder issue, so perhaps sitting a game isn't the worst news for both his health and the 49ers' Super Bowl aspirations.
