We're off and running with the twelfth week of waiver wire pickups in fantasy football as Week 13 looms. But you might be thinking about which players on your roster to keep or to drop as you make those decisions.
That's what this weekly column -- a keep 'em or drop 'em debate -- aims to help with. We're going to focus on who you should hang on to or who you should definitely cut in order to pick up one of the intriguing names available.

WR Rashid Shaheed, Seattle Seahawks
It takes time for a receiver to learn the playbook and get into a rhythm with his new QB when there's a trade deadline deal. That's the case with Shaheed, who also happens to play in an offense with Jaxon Smith-Njigba. Even though you might see Shaheed improve as the season progresses, I'm OK with dropping him given how much JSN is the focal point.
VERDICT: Drop him
Backup quarterbacks
I say this every year as we get closer to the fantasy football playoffs: If you play with one quarterback starting, use the extra bench spot for stashing backup running backs who could step up if a starter gets injured. You can always replace your starting QB with waiver wire pickups if there's an injury.

WR Alec Pierce, Indianapolis Colts
Dude just had a dud of a game after a good run pre-bye. That said, I'd keep him after a couple of tough upcoming matchups and hope the deep threat explodes in the fantasy playoffs.
VERDICT: Keep him
RB Rhamondre Stevenson, New England Patriots
He's probably a drop candidate given how much work rookie TreVeyon Henderson is getting. I'd still keep him in case of injury.
VERDICT: Keep him
WR Jordan Addison, Minnesota Vikings
If J.J. McCarthy was better, we'd be talking about how awesome Addison is. For now? He's a drop candidate in re-draft leagues.
VERDICT: Drop him
TE Kyle Pitts Sr., Atlanta Falcons
Sigh. Here we are again. The tight end with so much promise continues to be just OK. And lately, he's seen just eight targets and totaled 39 yards. I'm fine with dropping him.

WR Jerry Jeudy, Cleveland Browns
Seems like Shedeur Sanders is spreading the ball around and focusing on his running backs and tight ends. That could mean Jeudy doesn't get much love.
VERDICT: Drop him
