After the San Francisco 49ers handled business with a 20-9 win over the Carolina Panthers in Santa Clara for Monday Night Football, it was on the Golden State Warriors to complete the Bay Area sweep on Monday night. With the Utah Jazz in town at Chase Center, the Warriors answered the bell.
Following three straight losses, Steph Curry stayed hot to fuel a much-needed victory for the Warriors, 134-117. Curry tallied a game-high 31 points on 12-of-24 shooting from the field with six made 3-pointers to go along with four rebounds and two assists. Curry has now tallied 31 or more points in five of his last six games. Over that six-game stretch, Curry is averaging 34.5 points 52% shooting from the field and 42% from beyond the arc.

Gary Payton II earned his first start of the season and filled up the box score. The veteran guard recorded nine points on 4-of-8 shooting with eight assists, six rebounds and a steal in 21 minutes against the Jazz.
Despite the Jazz taking an early lead, the Warriors used an explosive second quarter to take a double-figure lead into halftime. The Warriors outscored the Jazz 41-20 in the second frame, shooting 58.6% from the field anf 53.8% from long distance. Moses Moody tallied 10 points while Buddy Hield added nine off the bench in the second quarter alone.
In the third quarter, the Warriors pushed their lead to 22 points to cruise to a 134-117 win at Chase Center on Monday evening.

Hield notched 20 points on 8-of-13 shooting from the field with four made 3-pointers to go along with five rebounds and four assists in 23 minutes off the bench. Jimmy Butler added 18 points while Moody notched 15 points.
The Warriors made 19 3-pointers against the Jazz with four players knocking down at least two or more triples on Monday evening, including rookie Will Richard.
The Warriors will now get Tuesday night off before welcoming the 11-4 Houston Rockets to Chase Center for an NBA Cup group stage game on the night before Thanksgiving.
