I'm excited to let you know that one of the best portable speakers around has been treated to its biggest discount yet. It's the JBL Charge 6, now available at Amazon for $129.95 (was $199.95). This generous price drop sees the five-star Bluetooth speaker crash to a record low price.
You know what you're getting with JBL, which is why we're always keen to let you know when one of their products is on sale. The brand is known for great sound, good build quality and effortless ease of use. The Charge 6 is no different, and now it's down to its lowest-ever price, we think it's the perfect time to snap it up.

JBL Charge 6: was US$199.95 now US$129.95 at AmazonThe JBL Charge 6 comes in more colors than you can shake a stick at, but it's only the black and white colorways that are discounted to this price, direct from Amazon. We've got a lot of love for this speaker, as evidenced in our five-star review. It sounds great, is impressively loud and has a super rugged exterior. And for a limited time only, it's cheaper than it's ever been.
View DealIn our JBL Charge 6 review we gave the speaker an impressive five stars. Need we say more? This is one of the best Bluetooth speakers around on almost every metric possible. We said that it "has more than enough sonic talent to justify its asking price – and the fact that it’s so well made, so hardy and so very usefully specified only seals the deal."
In terms of specs, you'll be treated to 45W of amplification going into a 20mm tweeter and a large racetrack driver. That all equates to some seriously loud sound with punchy bass. That being said, it's not brutish. We found that it delivers impressive detail with equally impressive subtlety.
In terms of battery life, there's 24 hours (28 with the bass turned down a bit), which will be more than enough for most users. Additionally, the device is IP68 rated for dust and water resistance, which makes it a fantastic option for music outdoors.
To aid you in your search, we have a range of in-depth and handy guides, including the best cheap Bluetooth speakers and best portable speakers. If you know you'll be using the speaker in wet conditions, then you'll want the best waterproof speakers guide instead.
