Need the convenience of a tablet without paying a premium price? Right now, you can get the affordable but reliable Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 Plus at Amazon for $139.99 (was $219.99).
The A9 Plus is part of Samsung's line of budget counterparts to its Samsung Galaxy Tab S9 series. It may have a weaker processor and lack some of the premium features that the S9 tablets have, but it offers a much lower price in return.

Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 Plus: was US$219.99 now US$139.99 at AmazonThe Samsung Galaxy Tab A9 Plus is back to its Black Friday price at Amazon, which will probably be the cheapest it'll be before the new year. This version runs on the dependable Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor, with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of storage, though you can upgrade to 8GB RAM and 128GB built-in storage for $50 more. If you really want to save money and are fine with a basic device, I wouldn't even worry about the limited storage, considering you can expand it by up to 1TB with a microSD card.
View DealThe Galaxy Tab A9 Plus features an 11-inch LCD display with a 90Hz refresh rate and 480nits of brightness. It runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 695 processor, which is more than enough to juggle simple tasks like web browsing, watching videos, and note-taking.
Even if it's not the strongest tablet, it still has potential as a laptop alternative. It's one of the cheapest Galaxy Tabs to support DeX mode, the Samsung feature that lets you manage tabs similar to like you would in a browser. If you have a Galaxy smartphone, you can answer calls and texts straight from your tablet, too.
If you want an even stronger option, I'd recommend browsing our best tablets. We also have separate recommendations for best Android tablets and best iPads, in case you have a preference between Android and Apple.
