Getty ImagesThe 10-4 Chicago Bears host the 9-4-1 Green Bay Packers as 1.5-point home underdogs this Saturday. If the Packers win, they take the lead in the NFC North, but if the Bears win, they extend theirs. The Bears do have some injuries in the receiving game, with Rome Odunze and Luther Burden both out for this matchup.
One player who has seen an uptick in production in the second half of the season is rookie tight end Colston Loveland. He’s shown good upside, but he’s been relegated to 5-6 targets most weeks. Will it be enough for you to start him in the fantasy playoffs?
Below, we’ll go over Colston Loveland’s outlook in fantasy football for Week 16.
Fantasy Football analysis: Bears, TE, Colston LovelandWith Burden and Odunze out, this decision becomes much easier. Loveland’s usage should get an uptick, which is all I need to start him. The Packers have been relatively good against tight ends, but Colston did secure a touchdown against them two weeks ago and now he doesn’t have Micah Parsons harassing his quarterback. Add in the fact that TE Cole Kmet isn’t 100%, and Colston is a must start for the fantasy playoffs.
