Draymond Green is the latest member of the Golden State Warriors to deal with an injury scare.

As the Warriors paid a visit to the Philadelphia 76ers on Thursday night, Green had an awkward landing, which was followed by the veteran forward struggling to walk without a limp.

The Warriors then took Green out of the game, which led to the multi-time All-Star heading back to the locker room shortly before the Sixers and the Warriors went in for the half.

Will Draymond Green Return to the Game?

After getting checked out at halftime, the Warriors have decided to rule out Green for the remainder of the game. He was diagnosed with a right foot injury.

When Green left the court, he played for nine minutes on Thursday. The veteran went 1-3 from the field, scoring just three points. All of his shots were taken from beyond the arc.

Beyond his scoring, Green also came down with three rebounds and blocked a shot. The Warriors struggled throughout the first half of action, leaving Green with a minus-10 during his short shift in the first half.

On Thursday, the Warriors had a crowded injury report heading into the game. While they felt good about clearing Quentin Post and Al Horford to play, along with seeing the debut of De’Anthony Melton, the Warriors were still missing a couple of key players.

Jimmy Butler started experiencing knee soreness earlier this week. As the Warriors battled against the Oklahoma City Thunder, he left the game in the first half without returning. The Warriors had Butler listed as questionable before ruling him out hours before tipping off against the Sixers.

As expected, Steph Curry was ruled out for the night. After suffering a quad contusion last week, the Warriors planned to re-evaluate Curry in one week. Golden State head coach Steve Kerr told reporters that Curry would not make it on the three-game road trip, which started in Philly.

Now, the Warriors have eyes on Draymond Green as well.
