Dameon Pierce has found a new home.
The Kansas City Chiefs signed the former Houston Texans' running back to their practice squad early Monday morning ahead of their matchup on Thanksgiving against the Dallas Cowboys. Kansas City hosts Houston next Sunday at Arrowhead Stadium on primetime.

Last season, he fell behind both Pro Bowler Joe Mixon and Dare Ogunbowale, mostly seeing success on special teams. This season, he has 10 carries for 26 yards as the third option behind Woody Marks and former All-Pro Nick Chubb.
Kansas City has struggled to move the ball on the ground this season without a consistent lead back. Kareem Hunt did put together a 100-yard rushing performance against the Indianapolis Colts in Sunday's win, but also had a fumble. The Chiefs have been without Isiah Pacheco due to an MCL injury since Week 9.
According to KPRC 2 Sports' Aaron Wilson, Philadelphia Eagles general manager Howie Roseman made a strong effort to sign Pierce before he signed with the Chiefs.
