Sunderland boss Regis Le Bris praised Chemsdine Talbi’s versatility and adaptability after scoring for his side in the 1-1 draw with Liverpool.
Talbi netted his second goal of the season in the draw at Anfield before Nordi Mukiele’s own goal handed Liverpool a point.

“The case for him and for many other players is that they are discovering a new league,” he said. “It’s our debut in this league.
“We need experiences and I think we are learning fast.”
On how much Talbi has improved, Le Bris continued: “It’s tough to say because I think it’s a question of time, of experiences, and he played off the right, off the left, started games, has come off the bench sometimes as well.
“It’s a long journey and today he was good.”
