Sekhukhune United secured a hard-fought 1-0 victory over provincial rivals Magesi FC in the Limpopo derby on Wednesday.
Experienced forward Vusimuzi Mncube, who is in his fifth campaign with Babina Noko, scored the crucial goal six minutes from the first whistle.

As a result, Sekhukhune climbed up to third, having picked up 25 points in 13 matches as they continue their push for continental football next season.
Meanwhile, Magesi remain rooted in 15th-place with 11 points from 14 league outings and stretched their winless run to four matches.
Interestingly, Dikwena Tsa Meetse will face fellow strugglers Stellenbosch FC when the Betway Premiership continues after the AFCON break next year in January.
