The Colorado State football team could start four different quarterbacks over 12 games in 2025.
The Rams seem likely to have a new starter for the finale when they host Air Force at 1 p.m. Nov. 28.
It's been a wild ride in the QB carousel.

Brayden Fowler-Nicolosi entered the season as Jay Norvell's undisputed QB1, with the coach saying Fowler-Nicolosi was the face of the program and one of the most experienced quarterbacks at CSU's level.
Fowler-Nicolosi started CSU's first three games but struggled. After the second game of the season, backup Jackson Brousseau was getting some first team reps. He took over late in the third game of the season.
Fowler-Nicolosi ended up appearing in just three games, completing 54% of his passes (44-82) for 488 yards, one passing touchdown and two interceptions. Fowler-Nicolosi left the team in October after Norvell was fired.

He had some bright moments, but the offense was still mostly poor as Brousseau managed games. He made seven starts in a row and completed 61% of his passes (100-164) for 1,031 yards, seven touchdowns and three interceptions.
Brousseau suffered an injury Nov. 15 against New Mexico. By that time, Darius Curry had been getting occasional in-game appearances already. Curry, who began the season as the scout-team QB came in to finish the New Mexico game.
With Brousseau injured, Curry got the nod for Nov. 22 at Boise State for his first career spot. As he had done in the New Mexico game, he made some big plays but also was turnover prone.

His final stat line for 2025 is 65% completion percentage (70-107) for 740 yards, five touchdowns and seven interceptions.
So, who would the starter be when the Rams host the Falcons?
"You tell me," Summers said with a laugh when asked the QB plan at his Nov. 24 press conference.
"We'll try to make sure that we give ourselves the best chance to win with the guys that are available. We'll take a look at that."
Brousseau is likely still out injured. The most experienced candidate is Tahj Bullock, who has been used as CSU's running quarterback this season.

He played 22 games for Akron the past two seasons, passing for 447 yards and three touchdowns. Bullock, who also played a year at Virginia Tech, has thrown 100 career passes in college. He's 55-100 for 474 yards, three touchdowns and three interceptions. He's rushed for 352 yards and 15 touchdowns in college.
Walk-on Tommy Poholsky traveled with the team for the Boise State game and was in uniform and likely would be the next option. Poholsky is an Evergreen High School graduate and spent one season (2023) at Iowa. He's never appeared in a college game. The other available QB on the roster is freshman Tyler Lewis, who threw for 2,513 yards and 24 touchdowns as a senior in high school.
CSU has had six different players throw a pass this season: Fowler-Nicolosi, Brousseau, Curry, Tahj Bullock, Tay Lanier and Bryan Hansen.
