Baltimore Ravens tight end Mark Andrews has secured his immediate future with the tight end agreeing to a new three-year, $39.3 million contract extension per NFL Network's Mike Garafolo.

Andrews was looking at being a free agent in the offseason, but the Ravens clearly saw value in not only bringing the veteran back, but on a three-year deal as well.
But fans' reactions have been different to the news of Andrews sticking around.
Some have loved it, due to what Mark means to the organization, but others aren't happy with it, as Isaiah Likely now won't get the chance to develop into the No.1 tight end for Lamar Jackson, so the young tight end might once again have to take a back seat in the offense.

What does Andrews' extension mean for Likely?
Well, for one, Likely will be splitting reps with Andrews on game day, so there's that.
But most importantly, and something that some might overlook, is that Isaiah will continue to get the chance to learn from one of the best to ever do it for another three years.
Let's not forget, Likely is still only 25 and in his fourth season, so there is plenty of room to grow.
However, as some have suggested on social media, now that Andrews is staying around for the next three years, that could stunt Likely's growth, as this offseason felt like a good time to part ways with Andrews.
