The Buffalo Bills' 26-7 win over the Pittsburgh Steelers was a rather fiery encounter, with plenty of pushing and shoving and some verbal back-and-forth.

There were a lot of incidents throughout the game, but one caught the attention of most.

Steelers defensive tackle Cam Hayward was rather ticked off for most of the game, and when asked why post-game, he stated that Allen kneed him in the stomach (on purpose, we assume), and when speaking to reporters, he was visibly angry.

Well, on Wednesday, Allen had the chance to respond to what Hayward said, and Josh played a straight bat to the incident.

“Listen, I got a lot of respect for Cam Hayward, but we're on to the Bengals,” Allen said.

Hmm, ok. So, no fuel added to the fire.

Bills facing tough Bengals test

A couple of weeks ago, this game would have been seen as one Buffalo would likely win at a canter, but not now.

Joe Burrow is back, and the Bengals are fresh off curb-stomping Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens as the defense put on a show. So, this isn't an easy game anymore.

With the Bills at 8-4, and their playoff spot not yet locked away, the margin for error is slim with the Houston Texans right behind Buffalo, and having beaten them already this season, own the tie-breaker.

So, the Bills have to take care of business in Week 14, and Allen, it appears, has put the Hayward incident behind him.

Although we aren't sure if Cam has.
