It still may not be enough to pose a major threat when the postseason rolls around, though. The Bills are almost certainly going to be a wild card team, and they'll need some firepower around Josh Allen to make a deep run.
It's too bad they can't accelerate to add someone out of the upcoming draft class. That's an idea written in jest in a new mock draft by The Athletic's Dane Brugler.

AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementBrugler suggests that the Bills will end up with Washington's Denzel Boston in the first round of the 2026 NFL Draft.
"Maybe my favorite fit in this mock," Brugler writes. "The Bills could use Boston on the roster right now as they gear up for a playoff run. Whether as an X on the outside or a 'big' slot, Boston uses his 6-4 frame to win by using body position in coverage, tracking the football and finishing outside that frame with outstanding hand strength
Boston's 6-foot-4 frame would serve as a potential replacement for Keon Coleman if the Bills ever decide to move on from him.

Buffalo has really only been able to rely on tight end Dalton Kincaid and slot receiver Khalil Shakir this season in the passing game, at least from a consistency standpoint.
If Boston could change that in the draft, it'd be a big deal.
