Just days after Lane Kiffin accepted the head coach position at LSU, he will now be tasked with signing his first recruiting class for the Tigers. While most of the commitments in LSU's 2026 class came under former Tigers head coach Brian Kelly, Kiffin was able to sign some new players as well. He also managed to flip some of his commits from Ole Miss' 2026 class, as well.

Where does LSU's 2026 recruiting class rank?

LSU's 2026 class currently ranks 13th overall in the country, and is sixth inside the SEC. As Kiffin gets more settled into his new digs, expect the Tigers to climb up both of those rankings.

The Tigers have inked top-10 recruiting classes in five out of their last six classes, dating back to 2020. This could turn out to be Kiffin's highest-rated class he's ever signed as a head coach.
