The Seattle Seahawks are getting healthier on defense at the right time of the year. Earlier on Wednesday morning, we at Seahawks Wire predicted safety Julian Love could be nearing his return due to the Seahawks waiving running back Myles Gaskin. It appears our prediction was correct.
A couple hours after that article was published, the Seahawks announced the return of three key players from the Injured Reserve (IR) list: safety Julian Love, defensive tackle Jarran Reed, and wide receiver Dareke Young.

Seattle enjoyed their first shutout victory in a decade last week against the Minnesota Vikings, so the fort has been held down successfully in their absences. However, these are Pro Bowl caliber veteran leaders and will only make this unit even more challenging to score on.
As for Dareke Young, giving a little boost to Seattle's offense and passing attack can only be a benefit. The Seahawks haven't been as explosive lately on that side of the ball, so adding more depth couldn't hurt.
At this time, no moves need to be made to get them back on the 53-man roster. These players have a 21-day window to be re-added, or be shut down for the rest of the season.
