Notes & Thoughts:

  • The defense closed the regular season with 18 more total snaps than the offense. Not completely horrible, but not what we expected coming into the season.

  • Amare Campbell played every snap for the third straight week.

  • Except for one six-man front with Cooper Cousins, only the starting five on the offensive line played every snap for the second straight week. Not coincidentally, the rushing attack has been near unstoppable the last two weeks.

  • AJ Harris finished fourth in snaps for the game among the cornerbacks after a rough performance. His decline has been painful to watch this season.

  • Chaz Coleman played for the first time since the Iowa game.

  • Next season, I plan on adding special teams to this post. It was too late for me to go back and compile special teams snaps for the whole season (I record the game each week and delete it from my DVR), but I would like to add it in 2026.
