Four-star offensive lineman Noah Best held firm to his summertime pledge to Oklahoma on Wednesday when he signed to play with the Sooners.
Best rates as the No. 34 interior offensive lineman, according to the 247Sports composite rankings. He checks in as the No. 475 prospect in the Class of 2026 and the No. 63 recruit in Texas.

Oklahoma’s offense has been middling for the Sooners this season. OU ranks 83rd in FBS in sacks allowed, having given up 24. That total ranks Oklahoma ninth in the 16-team Southeastern Conference.
The Sooners are expected to return eight of their top 10 offensive linemen on the depth chart, though the transfer portal could change things. Starting right tackle Derek Simmons and right guard Febechi Nwaiwu won’t return because of exhausted eligibility.
