For the first time under head coach Darian DeVries, Indiana men’s basketball is ranked in the AP top-25 poll, appearing at No. 25 when the rankings were released on Monday afternoon.
Ironically, it’s Indiana’s first appearance in the poll in just about a year. The Hoosiers were No. 14 on November 25, 2024, before a pretty terrible week at the Battle 4 Atlantis sent them tumbling out of the rankings entirely, and for good. It’s the third all-time ranking for a Darian DeVries-coached team. West Virginia was ranked twice in 2024-25 and Drake appeared at No. 25 for one week during the 2020-21 season.

The Hoosiers are 5-0 on the season in 2025-26 with a 100-77 win over Marquette at the United Center in Chicago standing out among those wins. They’ll return to action on Tuesday night, facing off against Kansas State at Assembly Hall in Bloomington.
