Arsenal are keen on signing Eintracht Frankfurt winger Jean-Matteo Bahoya and the Bundesliga club have been informed of the Gunners’ interest, according to Sky Sports Germany journalist Florian Plettenberg. Arsenal want the 20-year-old attacker at the Emirates Stadium club in the summer transfer window and they have concrete interest in him. The Gunners manager Mikel Arteta strengthened his attack last summer and it appears he will look to make even more quality additions at the end of the season.
Frankfurt want €70 million for Bahoya, but suitors may look to pay less as he has bagged only three goals and one assist in 18 appearances this season after ending last term with three goals and four assists in 33 games. Arsenal are well-stocked in attack, with the likes of Bukayo Saka, Leandro Trossard, Gabriel Martinelli, Eberechi Eze and Noni Madueke their current options on the left wing. The Brazilian and Belgian have both been linked with exits in recent months, and Bahoya could be targeted as a replacement if either of them leaves.

The Ghana international, who can play on the right and through the middle, has six goals and three assists in 13 Premier League games this term. He ended last season with 11 goals and six assists in 37 league games, and he could prove to be another top attacking recruitment for the Gunners.
Arsenal are top of the Premier League table after 13 games and are looking to go one better this term and win their first title since 2004. They will look to bolster their squad next summer no matter how the campaign ends, and more attackers are expected to be linked with them in the coming months despite the plethora of options available to Arteta.
