Florida trending to hold on to key commit

The situation around Florida and four-star EDGE commit KJ Ford has been touch-and-go since head coach Billy Napier was fired. A number of other schools have pushed to flip him, most notably USC and Texas A&M. As late as yesterday, the buzz was around the Aggies.

Michigan 4-star WR commit Zion Robinson delays signing

For the most part, all has gone according to plan on Wednesday for Michigan. But four-star wide receiver Zion Robinson posted on social media that he is delaying his signing until further notice.
Robinson has been committed to the Wolverines since June, but this will be one to watch in the coming days.

Lane Kiffin gets a big addition at LSU, looking for more

AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementThe recruiting world has been abuzz since Lane Kiffin left Ole Miss for LSU. The new Tigers’ staff has been working to fill out its class in the final days before NSD, and they landed a big addition Wednesday in four-star wide receiver Corey Barber.
Barber decommitted from Ole Miss Sunday and now reunites with Kiffin in Baton Rouge. Rivals’ Chad Simmons has the details.
The Tigers are hoping to get a pair of five-star commits signed as well, and Rivals’ Sam Spiegelman updates with the latest on that.
“The agents for 5-star DL Lamar Brown and Richard Anderson met with members of the LSU staff, including Lane Kiffin, Billy Glasscock and Blake Baker for close to four hours on Tuesday night. In the aftermath of those conversations, the arrow was tilted up for Anderson to potentially sign with LSU. A final decision will be made this morning. Brown’s representation is set to meet with LSU again on Wednesday morning. There is a very good likelihood both are signed before the end of this week.” — Spiegelman

Schools still pushing to flip 5-star WR Chris Henry Jr.

Five-star wideout Chris Henry Jr. has been in Ohio State’s class for more than two years, dating back to the summer of 2023. Multiple programs have tried — unsuccessfully — to move him off that pledge. And that won’t end until ink hits paper. West Virginia, USC and Oregon have been the schools connected most to Henry in the final weeks.

Ole Miss enters the mix for 4-star Gators commit

Multiple programs, namely Georgia Tech and most recently LSU, have been working to flip Milton (Fla.) safety Kaiden Hall from Florida in recent weeks but a late entrant to the race may be the biggest threat to the Gators.A source close to Hall’s recruitment told On3’s Pete Nakos that the Ole Miss Rebels have made up ground in Hall’s recruitment this week and are a real threat to move him off of his Florida pledge.This situation may not be resolved on National Signing Day as Wyatt plans to sign his paperwork on Friday, which is his birthday.

Tennessee fends off late LSU push for 4-star DB

Four-star safety Joel Wyatt has been committed to Tennessee since July, but LSU and new head coach Lane Kiffin had been in heavy pursuit this week working toward a flip. Those efforts appear to have been in vain.A source close to Wyatt’s recruitment told Rivals’ Chad Simmons that Wyatt will stick with his commitment and sign with the Vols on National Signing day.Wyatt ranks No. 73 overall and No. 6 at his position in the Rivals Industry Rankings.
