The Kentucky Wildcats fall to 5-3 on Tuesday night in a loss against the UNC Tar Heels by a final score of 67-64. Hubert Davis and the Heels get their first road win in Lexington since 2007. The Heels outplayed the Wildcats late and are headed home with a huge win.
The Wildcats were absolutely dominated on the glass all night long. The Heels were +11 on the boards to end the night and finished with 40 total rebounds. 20 (TWENTY!) of those rebounds came on the offensive side of the ball for the Tar Heels. Henri Veesar, UNC’s big man, led the game with ten rebounds.

The Cats are in desperate need of rim protection and paint help as the season grows older. With Jayden Quaintance possibly returning within the next month or so, it would be a significant addition for Kentucky when conference play rolls around.
The Wildcats are back in action on Friday night against No.11 Gonzaga. The game will be held at Bridgestone Arena in Nashville, Tennessee. Tip-off is set for 7:00 p.m. ET on ESPN2.
