Richmond remained No. 1 in the Women’s Other Top 25. The Spiders have been in the top spot in every iteration of the ranking, beginning in the preseason. They have won four straight and sit a 5-1 on the season. They defeated Temple and Navy last week.

Aaron Roussell’s is 38th in BartTorvik, which is the highest rated mid-major team. It heads to Cancun this week for a pair of games: against TCU, who is No. 8 in the AP Top 25, and Green Bay, who is No. 21 in this week’s Other Top 25.

Fairfield and South Dakota St. each moved up a spot to Nos. 2 and 3, respectively. The Stags are the second highest-rated mid-major in Torvik, just three spots behind the Spiders. They are 3-1 and have wins over Villanova and South Florida. The Jackrabbits are 5-0 and topped Gonzaga 72-63 in their lone game last week.

Princeton is No. 4 this week. The 5-1 Tigers won both games in the Battle4Atlantis. They prevailed 100-93 over Penn St. and 81-62 over Maryland Eastern Shore. George Mason rounded out the top five. The Patriots are 4-2 and sit 57th in Torvik.

The one new team to join the top 10 was Rhode Island at 10th. The Rams are up one spot from 11. They are followed by UNLV at 11, who dropped from sixth. Massachusetts made the biggest jump this week. The Minutewomen moved from 23rd to 17th. They are 5-0 on the season and most recently best Boston College. They also have a win over Harvard.

Three teams joined the Other Top 25 this week: Santa Clara (20th), UTSA (22nd) and Quinnipiac (23rd). They replaced Murray St., Rice and Vermont.
