DAYTON, Ohio. (Dec. 2, 2025) – The ETSU Buccaneers saw their 5-game winning streak come to an end tonight on the road against the Dayton Flyers inside the UD Arena.
The Buccaneers (6-2) got out to an early lead, but the Flyers (7-2) cut the lead down to one before De’Shayne Montgomery hit six free throws in 55 seconds of game time to give them the lead with 11:02 left in the first half, which they carried into the break at 46-38.
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementThree Buccaneers scored in double figures, led by a career-high 21 from Barkley, who also tied a career-high with six rebounds. Cam Morris III had 19 points and five boards, and Taylor had 16 points, four rebounds, and a team-leading five assists.
The Bucs return home Friday night to face South Alabama at 7:00 pm.
