Sam Kerr was unavailable for this past weekend’s 4-1 victory over Sheffield United in the League Cup, and it’s emerged that the central midfielder is entering rehabilitation for a back injury.
Kerr will not travel to Scotland for the international break and will instead remain behind at Melwood to continue this process. The Scottish international has made seven appearances for Liverpool thus far this season in all competitions, and will hope to limit her spell on the sidelines as her experience and skillset is an asset to Gareth Taylor’s struggling side.
Liverpool FC Women next play on December 6th, when they travel south to face the tough challenge of Arsenal at the Emirates.
