Best and worst offensive PFF grades for Patriots in win over Bengals

A lackluster offensive performance nearly led to the New England Patriots biting the dust on the road against the Cincinnati Bengals.

Second-year quarterback Drake Maye looked shaky out of the gates with multiple missed throws to open receivers. One badly missed throw to tight end Hunter Henry resulted in a pick-six in the first half of the game that had the Patriots trailing 10-0 at one point.

It isn't about how you start but how you finish. And Maye bounced back with an incredibly strong finish against a Bengals defense that showed up to play. The offensive game plan utilized the tight ends to exploit the middle of the field for good chunk gains.

Hunter Henry led the team with seven receptions for 115 yards and one touchdown. Meanwhile, Maye went 22-of-35 passing for 294 yards, one touchdown and one interception.
