Wisconsin football recent transfer commit flips to Kansas

Grand Valley State transfer defensive lineman Jibriel Conde flipped his commitment from Wisconsin to Kansas on Monday.

Conde, who 247Sports currently ranks as the No. 1 transfer at his position and No. 11 overall player in the portal, committed to the Badgers on Saturday. His decision to flip to Kansas arrived just two days after that initial announcement.

Wisconsin is set to undergo major changes on the defensive front entering 2026, with Ben Barten headlining a list of veterans who are out of eligibility. The transfer portal is the most likely source for those replacements. With Conde now off the table, defensive line rejoins quarterback as the position at the top of the program's transfer to-do list.

The college football winter transfer window officially opens on Jan. 2, 2026. With Wisconsin having concluded its season with a road loss to Minnesota on Saturday, all focus is now on roster improvements for a key 2026 campaign.
