The comment section has sent in their questions and comments after Miami beats Pittsburgh, but will miss the ACC Championship Game once again as UVA and Duke will square off in Charlotte instead of the Hurricanes.
Sebastian the Ibis: I’m sick of Pop-Tarts, what could make this season worse than more processed sugary crap in my Christmas Stalking?
AdvertisementAdvertisementAdvertisementDear JD: I feel your pain, Sebastian, but at least it’s not Duke’s Mayo? If the Miami Hurricanes really do get snubbed out of the College Football Playoff there’s no one else to blame except the CEO, Mario Cristobal. The Hurricanes might deserve to be in the CFBPO but they should’ve beaten SMU and Louisville while being double-digit favorites- one of which was at home!
The Pop-Tarts Bowl will be held on Saturday, December 27th on ABC at noon. At least it’s not one of those bowl games that’s on in the middle of my 4th period class, right?
CanesWebSight: This is the mountain top!
Dear JD: Sure, if the mountain is that little hill at Tropical Park. Or maybe you mean the part where more people die on the descent from Mt. Everest rather than the ascent. So now if we’re saying the mountain top isn’t the most impressive part then yes, I get it. The Hurricanes losing out on Charlotte to Manny Diaz and Duke certainly doesn’t mean this is the peak I’m willing to accept.

Dear JD: You might want to close the account buddy because Lane is GONE. Much like how Butch Davis left for Cleveland after saying he was staying at UM, and how coaches all over the country pull the same stuff every season. Nick Saban left the Dolphins for the Crimson Tide in the middle of the night like Kiffin hauling ass out of Knoxville like the Colts leaving Baltimore.
What I have to say to Ole Miss fans is would you rather be ditched at 11-1 and in the CFBPO, or after getting pounded by Utah twice? No matter the case I would rather be in the playoff than in the Pop-Tart.
